Sasha Kojjio
media artist
Sasha Kojjio (b.1994) — new media artist working at the intersection of light, sound and architectural space. In his audiovisual installations he explores phenomena of elusive perception of reality and inner psychonavigation in an age of information oversaturation. He builds his work around program code and generative algorithms which become a nervous system - the link between the concept and viewer experience. Kojjo’s aesthetic gravitates toward radical minimalism: it avoids excess, yet holds depth. Light, sound, and form are used sparingly but with utmost precision — creating space for imagination and an atmosphere of vulnerability, in which the viewer can begin to hear themselves.

Sasha Kojjio is a Barcelona-based artist and co-founder of media.tribe and metanoeia studio. His works have been presented at international media art festivals and exhibitions in Russia, Europe and USA.
